The "Nightly Batch" Problem
Most legacy systems don't actually talk to your PMS live. They rely on an end-of-day data dump. If a patient's doctor calls in a script at 10 AM, and the patient texts the bot at 2 PM asking if it's ready, the bot will say "I cannot find that prescription." The patient then calls the pharmacy, defeating the entire purpose of the bot.
RxHello's webhooks and API polling ensure that if a script is adjudicated at 10:01 AM, the AI knows about it by 10:02 AM.
